The peninsula of Florida lies on the East coast’s southernmost point of the United States between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. The Florida Cays begin at the southeastern coast of the peninsula and extend forming an arc south-westwards. Among the most visited cays are: Key largo, Islamorada, Marathon, Bahia Honda Key and Key West.
